We actually need the category or editorname you used when you applied.

Actually, now that I re-read your message I can tell you without even looking that there is no application in the system older than June. So your application must have been denied.

Thanks Donald,

Is a declination email normally sent out?
I've just reviewed all 133 of my incoming emails since May. No declination from dmoz. Could it have been lost, should I resubmit?

Normally it is. Some words to the procedure: After you replied to the mail with the key you pasted above (which we cant do anything with - but thats another story) you should have received a second mail telling you your application is in queue for review. If you did nor receive this second mail (i.e. your reply didn't make it to the ODP), we don't have a chance to review your application.

Now there's a category that you don't see everyday. Who would have guessed that we listed worms :)

Most reviewers will select the option that sends the basic denial letter, but it's not mandatory. Each person is different and sometimes they may choose for whatever reason not to send a rejection letter.

Also, Yahoo and MSN/Hotmail spam filters have been known to chew up the ODP reject letters. There must be something in them that triggers the filters. So sometimes if you look in your spam folder on Yahoo you'll see that there actually was a letter.

I would say that you should apply again. Make sure that you go through all of the info included in the FAQ and General Advice thread above.
