Application Status

I've applied to become an editor of http://dmoz.org/Business/Small_Business/Start_Up/ and would like to check on my application status. I've forgotten which email address I used, it was either rich@startupskills">rich@startupskills</a> + .com (sorry, have to filter the spam) or <a href="mailto:richard.stokes@sbcglobal + .net.

It looks like your application is waiting for review.

Personally, I'm not sure that this is a good category for a new editor, especially since there is already an editor there. But don't take this as gospel as I rarely look at Business branch applications. I just think that this category has more to it than meets the eye. Seems like a bit of a catch-all category for junk. I think the current editor spends a lot of time sifting the wheat from the chaff.

But who knows

Probably for reasons related to the denial e-mail you got, or the fact that the category already has an active editor. What did it say? I can't imagine that a denial of your application would have anything to do with anything on this forum.
