Application to a little used area...

I applied to be a ChefMoz editor - so if I'm at the wrong place - please forgive me. While I don't want to bug anybody (it's only been 3 weeks), I do have a question about my application.

I would patiently wait much longer but because I'm applying to a sub-category (My fine city of Shakopee) within a state category (Minnesota) that has no editor - I'm wondering if my application may have gotten stuck with no parent editor to review my application.

So my question is not whether my application is still in "processing" (I'm confident that it is), I'm wondering if it may have gotten held up because of parent editor gap.

I appreciate your input.

This really is the wrong place to ask about ChefMoz applications (this is a public forum for the Open Directory Project, not her sister sites). Just a small comment, though -- applications are not handled by the editors of the parent category of the one being applied for so the fact that the parent category has no listed editor has nothing to do with how fast (or slow) your application will be processed.
