Strange...... never got a reply. I would of thought at least someone could of let me know regardless of whether the application was rejected or not.

It isn't so strange, not all applications get a reply. When an application is rejected the reviewer chooses the option that thinks is more appropriate for that specific case. :)

It would of been nice & more professional if I did get a reply... It does state the following in the confirmation email:

You will receive a reply as soon as your application
has been reviewed
Click to expand...

Now that doesn't say anything about the editor only deciding to reply if they feel it necessary....

I am sorry for that sentence, but that is an automated and generic answer, infact often the applications get a reply, but mainly when they are accepted.

For some rejected applications there are no helpful explanations to give so a reply is not sent.
