I'm not seeing anything for that username or that category in the queue. Did you receive and reply to the confirmation email after you submitted your application?

That would probably be best. Make sure that you are using a valid email address so that you receive the confirmation email. I can't remember what happens though if you try to submit a new application with the same username and/or email address. The system may tell you that you already have an application pending. Someone else may be able to answer that question.

If you did not receive a mail saying something like...

"To complete your application process, please reply to this message.
This will confirm that we have your correct email address."

(This is a part of the body of the mail I received when I applied last year.)

...you will have to re-apply. It might be a good idea to save the text of the application in a textfile to make re-applying easier if something goes wrong.

Good luck .

Re-applied using name cwt, got my rejection notice stating that the category is currently well served with editors. However if you go into each section 'A', 'B', 'C' etc the message 'this category needs an editor' is showing.
At present there are also many duplicate sites listed, go to 'F' and you will find 'Fredfinds' and 'Fredfindsmortgages' right next to each other both take you to the same site. The same is true under 'M' you will find Mortgage Intelligence listed twice. These are just 2 examples, there are many more.
Is there no space for another Editor in this category?

Actually, I would have said that the category was too big for a new editor. You need to find a smaller category where you can do some good, and gain experience. If you are interested in the Regional UK area why not look at the Financial Services or Business and Economy categories for the locality (city, town) where you live.

Hope that helps a bit. I know it's sometimes frustrating to be rejected when there are things you see that need fixing, but if you start a bit smaller you'll be better off in the long run
