Hi, I am trying to decide where to list our website... Here is a description...

http://www.constructashed.com
The UK Warehouse & Distribution Centre construction website devoted to new warehouse location, distribution centre design and build. Created by a consortium of high profile UK clients.

As you can see we are a highly respected consortium but not a registered organisation. What would be the best category. Some of our members offer their services to a worldwide audience.

Do we need a main contact details area in terms of a postal address on our site to get a listing. At the moment the contact details of each member is listed on their profile page.

How about somewhere within Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Construction_and_Maintenance ?

No.

We don't offer that service here, because it happens automatically at dmoz. Just submit the site to the most appropriate category you can find; an editor will move it to a more appropriate category if necessary.

I'm not sure how you think we're going to see what OTHER people think of you (respect or contempt or just impenetrable inpassivity) by looking at the website. (Or did you just mean you were a mass mutual admiration society?)

The usual rules apply: a site needs unique content to be listed. If you're thinking "how little unique content can I add and still be listed?" the answer is always going to be "don't bother -- with that attitude you won't EVER create a site worth listing."
