appropriate category for language BLOG

Hello,
I am working on a blog about colloquial expressions and slang from Brazil. This blog is in English and targeted at English speakers. I'm in doubt as to what the best category would be:

- a general "blog" category like
Computers: Internet :On_the_Web :Weblogs

I couldn't find anything related to languages in the "weblogs" categories, except for literature blogs (not the case)


- or a non-blog category that is specific to the content like this one?
Science: Social Sciences: Linguistics: Languages: Natural: Indo-European: Italic: Romance: Portuguese
This would seem more appropriate. Opinions please?

A tightly focused blog fits better in the category about the focus topic . I haven't (and won't) look at your site, but your second suggestion may well be a reasonable one.

The general rule is: focus firstly on the TOPIC of a website, and secondarily on its FORM.
