Asking for Help with Submitting

Hello,
I have submitted my site to dmoz on two diiferent occassions.
Once in September 2001 and then once again in November 2002.
I did review the guidelines and tried to the best of my ability to comply.
I have never been notified of being rejected or accepted.
I do know that the site is not listed within the directory.

I have waited for a response and have not resubmitted in case the site was being reviewed.
Do I need to wait a little longer?

That is precisely what you should expect to be never notified of.

Don't wait for a response. I'm more e-mail-oriented than most editors -- I send out at least an e-mail of some sort every 2000 edits or so.

Your relevant options are:
Resubmit once, in case the first submittal got deleted accidentally (it does happen, IME about once every 100-1000 submittals.)
You can ask about the status in the Forum provided here (read the forum guidelines first)
You can apply to edit that area yourself.
