Bad companies - is there a reporting mechanism in DMOZ?

In asking this question I suspect I know the answer but will ask anyway.

If we know of a company that's using bad selling techniques and being dishonest in some way - and can prove it of course! - is there a mechanism within DMOZ to report them - i.e. where they are listed in DMOZ?

Many thanks

DMOZ only evaluates websites. We do not evaluate companies and the way they do business. If a company is involved into illegal activities you should report them to the appropriate autorities.
If a company is dishonest with their listings in DMOZ (like having multiple websites listed or having changed the content after it was listed to something we don't want to list) you can report them in the QC thread.

We list Microsoft. If you can find a more evil company on the planet, we'd probably list it, also. (How many companies have had national statesmen compare their marketing approach to selling crack?)

If you wish to publish information exposing a company's evil doings, you can of course publish it on a website. And the ODP has a category (Allegedly Unethical Firms) which lists such sites.

Thanks for the replies. Perhaps I should check out the 'Unethical firms' listing to see who is included in case I find myself doing business. There must be websites out there or blogs with such info.

Many thanks
Charles
