Becoming editors for multiple categories

I am interested in becoming an editor of multiple categories within the dmoz directory, all categories pertaining to bed and breakfasts and bed and breakfast directories. I am in the process of applying to become an editor and I was curious if there is anything wrong with applying to multiple categories before getting accepted as an editor, or if I should apply to one category and wait to become accepted as an editor, then add new categories afterwards. Input anyone?

This is the only way to go. You can't apply for multiple categories at once. You will have to be granted the first category, and then once you have shown us that you know what you're doing, you can apply for a second category and so on.
