Hi Guys, I have tried to submit my site to dmoz under this cat
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...d_and_Beverage/Beverages/Beer/Microbreweries/

I have had the site live now for nearley a year in which time I have submitted to dmoz on several occasions with a waiting period of 8 weeks between submissions.

I have tried by using different descriptions but truthfully I dont think anyone has looked at the submission as this cat does not have an editor

My submission description is

Toon Ale
Newcastle beer brewed for Geordies. Producing Toon Ale Blonde and our prized Toon Ale Brunette Brown ale.

Any help would be greatley appreciated. Thanks Guys...

Which site would that be?

And might I ask where why you think that submittng every six months is a good idea. A lot of people seem to do this, and I just wonder why.

Hi Guys yes toonale.co.uk is my site. The reason I submit every few months is incase the submission e-mail is deleted automatically every few months. A lot of forums tell you to wait a few months before re-submitting. Obviously if the site was listed I would not re-submit.
Let me know if you need more info and thanks guys...

Now that the site has been submitted (again) then you may visit http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showforum=42 in one months time to confirm receipt of the submission.

Do not resubmit unless and editor in this forum specifically requests you to do so. As for the submission email it is of no use to us in the sense that if you change it daily it will not affect whether the site is listed or not.

Huh? What planet are we on? And what time zone?

We don't send any submission e-mail, and if we did, we couldn't care less whether or when it gets deleted. What is that to us? What could it possibly be?

And if you're talking about your submittal to us, there are no automatic deletes, ever. There are submittals from 2001 still waiting for review.

The reason you should have not been doing what you have been doing, is that is not what the submittal policies say to do.

And you don't have to tell HIM that, but the person who fed you that line was clue-challenged, and if I were you, in the future I'd ask to see his watch rather than asking him what time it was.

There are submittals from 1999 which are still waiting for review.
