Being watched by dmoz

Just a quick question.

It's now been over a year since submitting my website to dmoz (don't worry I'm not going to complain about the wait :p) but I've notice periodic visits (about a month between each) from editors/watchlist.cgi (registered on my site stats). Why the frequent visits (I would imagine it only takes one visit to assess whether or not to add to the directory)?

It probably means that an editor has noted it and is hoping that one of several things happen:

  1. It gets some additional unique content
  2. Under construction signs go away
  3. some critical item (perhaps an address) is missing
  4. It is too buggy to list
  5. it is, to paraphrase a television show, "not ready for prime time."
  6. Something else entirely

Hi spectregunner,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't suppose there is any way to find out is there?

The website in question is a pregnancy forum with 356 active members and an avarage of 10,500 new posts a month so plenty of unique content. Really at a loss of what else I need to do to the site to make it anymore dmoz ready.
