Blocking the competition from dmoz

Quick question, with the current site suggestion processes that are in place, whats preventing a potential competitor from re-submitting a site multiple times, to intern block it from being reviewed and eventually added in the directory?

I ask this because, I suggested the url for my company to dmoz not realizing that years prior someone in the company had already tried submitting, (when the website was in shambles) So therefore, I could potentially be a competitor re-submitting time after time. Sidenote: taking the above scenario into account will the new updated version of my site be reviewed? Thank you.

Suffice it to say there are safeguards in place to prevent the directory being easily manipulated in such a manner.

Two submissions do not a spammer make and will not affect whether your site will be reviewed.
