Bug in DMOZ Editor Login !

I recently applied to volunteer and become a DMOZ Editor with an username aksinghart , i have heard that if any one is not eligible to become an editor than he/she normally gets and Email reply within 48 hours, i have still not got any reply and today is 3rd day, and i wish that i am selected as an editor.

By the time i tried to login in Editor login section with my username and password and i got a message User needs an email address verification before the user can login. than i thought i got selected as an editor and checked my email but there was no new email, than i tried to login with any random name and password and i got message , as usual Invalid username or password. than i tried navigated to section forgot password? and entered my username there and when i entered my username in forgot password section which was for Editors and i was amazed , I got an Email which had Password Reset Link.
So, Is this a Bug which i am reporting ? , and i guess it is
or
I have got selected as an Editor ? , I wish i could
or
I am missing something here ?

My intention was to report bug if it is, and I appreciate AOL and OPD for their great work.....

Not a bug. You won't be able to log in as an editor until your application has been processed and you've been accepted. Whatever the outcome, an email will be sent to you with the result. Despite what you've heard, there's no defined time scale for this.

Okay, I thought it is Good to inform DMOZ about this.
Yeah, as Editors are doing this as hobby there is no time scale.
It is good to know this not a Bug, as Engineers at AOL and DMOZ take there work very seriously..
Hope to Join this Family of Editors soon...
I will alway inform if i get anything suspicious at DMOZ, and will try to help you.

My Intention was not to check status of my Application, but to inform bug.
