A new member to this marvellous forum has just sent me the following private message:
I am a new user on www.resource-zone.com public forum. Every time I try to post a question, I get an error message that says:
"The host you are trying to send the input from is not a valid host."
Do you know what I am doing wrong or how I can fix this problem.

I've managed to find out that they are using Norton Internet Security, but I'm not familar with that particular product. Can any one post any advice? They can obviously log-in correctly (and the cookie being passed correctly between client and server), but what else could be preventing them from posting? And how can it be fixed...

(Looking into my firewall-settings)

I don't really remember which rule is the one I set for this forum long time ago, I don'T even know if its still needed. It _may_ be the "Inbound UDP service: port 28800" rule, since I can't think of anything that needs this rule at the moment...

Sounds like the browser the user is using isn't sending the referrer, and the forum won't accept a post that isn't from resource-zone, as checked through the referrer.

Yep. If your browser doesn't return a valid header you won't be able to post.

Can't find an appropriate thread <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />

So, did you lose anything with RZ being down yesterday?
Great job of getting it back up and running <img src="/images/icons/laugh.gif" alt="" />
