Everybody can apply to become an editor (although not at this exact moment as DMOZ is in maintenance mode - see http://blog.dmoz.org/2010/07/19/dmoz-planned-system-outage-notification-round-2/ )

Before applying you could read the thread FAQ and General Advice

Sure it is, tried suggesting a site but all in vain....but can they beat the deadline?it was supposed to statr working yesterday!

I just applied as editor in Design category. This is my first time here so i am not sure whether it will get approved or not. I really want to help Design and OPD community.
