Since you don't want specific mentions of websites here, not as easy to describe my problem. But here goes anyway.

I have researched, written a book about a heretofore UNWRITTEN about aspect of a topic that is not only old (existed long before the internet, decades before), but classic. My website is a spin-off of that book. If any of your editors know about library classification and CIP Data (Cataloguing in Publication), CIP data for my book managed to do a beautiful job of assigning topics and sub-topics to the frontmatter of the book.

How do I go about reaching your Games editor directly to advocate for adding a topic?

We only create new categories when we have several websites to put in them and (usually) after internal discussion. We don't create them on external request.

Here's what I suggest you do.

- Suggest your site to the parent category that you think should contain the new subcategory. Add a note to the editor in the proposed description [like this].

- Also suggest several other websites that would go in the same new category and include the same note in their descriptions.

Our Games editors will then have enough information to discuss your proposals. If they choose not to create the subcategory, they'll still process your listing suggestions and find homes for them.
