It's not waiting there, and there's no record of editor activity. You may resubmit.

Hutch was pointing out in his succinct style what you probably already knew. October 21st isn't usually considered to be within August and that the month you were asked to wait before asking again isn't up until Saturday :) .

I looked up when posting and saw 'August' as a post date, which was, I guess, my join date, not post. All in all, though, a few days plus or minus shouldn't be cause for a response that I would refer to as smarmy, or smart-alecky, rather than 'succinct'.

Just get back in line quietly, and the kindergarten teacher won't keep being mean to you.

It must be a heavy burden to volunteer to review sites for the directory without actually reviewing the sites. The weight of delaying and insulting strangers that only want a legitimate moment of a volunteer's time must play havoc with one's very being. If it is that hard for him to be polite he shouldn't volunteer.

I'll leave now, and I won't look back. I understand why, though, it takes years for a 10 page site to get reviewed around here, though.

Sure, return here in a month and we will verify receipt of your suggestion.

Hutch is not being mean or rude. He is only adding a little color to a somewhat dull forum. :D

In any case, the above quote gave you specific instructions in a very polite manner yet you ignored them or forgot about it. So please check back on or after 11-21-04. Sticking to the forum guidelines really helps all those who are trying to help you here. :)
