After searching DMOZ, it appears the most pertinent category would be: Business: Industries: Manufacturing: Electronics: Distributors and Vendors. Yet I can not find the category Industries under Business. Could someone send a blind man the link? Thanks.

Can you remember where you saw that suggestion? I'm guessing that it was in a category description somewhere. If you can let me know, I can go and correct it so that others won't have the same problem you did.

here is the URL from where it was mentioned:

http://www.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?where=Business/Electronics_and_Electrical/Components

And what it said:
Business: Electronics and Electrical: Components

This category includes listings for manufacturers of electronic, electromechanical, and electro-optical components. Distributors should be placed in : Business: Industries: Manufacturing: Electronics: Distributors and Vendors

Hope it helps. You guys (and gals) do a great job.

I've updated the category to give the correct information. Thanks for letting us know about it.

Oops. I hope motsa didn't fix it before me, or I've overwritten what he did. Either way, it's fixed now.

Yup, you overwrote me -- doh! Oh, well. All that matters is the category link is now correct.

Blast! So she is.

I'm always getting genders mixed up here and in the ODP fora.

Sorry again.

Though you seem to be pointing that remark at rfgdxm, so maybe I don't need to worry after all.

HEY, time out! *I* didn't right that. You've blamed the wrong person for giving an editall an online sex change operation.

And here I was trying to be polite by not mentioning it.

And there's me blaming rfgdxm as I know that dfy doesn't make mistakes

Actually I had just read several posts in a row by rfgdxm, both here and on WW, and just got caught in a rut assuming he wrote everything.
