Hi all

I am new to the forum.

I have a question that might seem a bit strange I am a web designer and as part of my service I submit my clients sites to some search engines. The problem I am having is that none of the sites that I have recently submitted to DMOZ (in a variety of different sections) are appearing. Some of these sites where submitted quite some time ago. I have gone up the chain to reach an appropriate editor and sent them an email but none have replied. Can anyone help me and tell me what my next step should be.

Thanks in advance.

Everyone is allowed to suggest sites.
If you want to ask for the status of your suggestions you can do that here.
Provide clickable links to the site and the category in which you suggested it.

It is, from our viewpoint, an admirable thing for a webdesigner to do. Be sure to consider, for each site, whether the surfer interest will be entirely local (real estate agents, restaurants) or entirely global (artists or craftsmen offering product for sale, but not willing to meet customers in person) or both (symphony orchestras, manufacturers with international businesses, churches) -- and submit either to Regional categories, to topical categories, or both where applicable. (Often the Regional submittals are reviewed more quickly.)

Bear in mind, though, that some sites aren't listable -- affiliate doorways; drop-ship shop drips; lead generators; advertising banner farms: basically any kind of site that markets goods or services actually provided by another party.

This forum is set up to allow you to specify a URL and a category, and ask for its status. Read the "read before posting" to see what information we need, and how to format it, and how often you can ask.

One other quick question, when asking for a status report can I put several in one post with all the required information or should I submit a separate post for each URL.

People do it both ways. It doesn't seem to matter much.

Just make sure not to discuss one URL or one company in more than one thread.
