The site is fully functional, in this case soon means when advertisers start using it. I can change the wording if it is confusing.

The wording isn't confusing. The site does not have sufficient content to warrant listing at this time.

Fair enough, I will not submit it until it it starts being used. It would be helpful if you guys could suggest a category though.

Well until there's some content, we can't know where, if anywhere, it should be listed.

When it's ready for prime time, be sure to suggest the .co.uk version; we won't ever list both.

As usual for aggregate-content sites, unless the site is better than EVERY other content in SOME way, and ranks with the top sites overall, then we probably won't list it. As the number of such sites, failed and failing, grows, we can't afford not to raise our standards. So many sites we listed in 2000 might be removed instantly if re-reviewed, and many of the sites listed in 2002 wouldn't be listed today. Back then, there were more niches available for unique sites, and for a unique concept we'd allow less content.

You can, of course, search the internet to see how unique your concept is.

It has been a short while since I last posted but the site has been in storage for 5 long years (can't believe it has been so long) has had the dust removed and is ready to go can you please tell me if it is now up to scratch to add to the directory.

When it's reviewed, if it's up to scratch, we tell EVERYBODY about it--that's what we do. There's no way we can AVOID having you find out.

And anyway, there is nothing we can tell you. You already know ALL about it, it's your site.
