Cannot login as editor

Hello,

some years ago I participated as an editor of DMOZ. Now I'm going to become this again... unfortunately I had lost my user credentials to login and any attempt to restore my password failed (likely because I cannot remember the correct username anymore).

Is there a way to restore my account ?

and send me a message telling me as much as you remember

editorname 9as you remember it)
your real name
(approximate) date you joined
in which cagtegory you started
which categories you later gained access to
your email address(es) you used as an editor
until when you have been active

With those I will try to find the right information

Tobias, finding an editor from so long ago with limited information is very difficult.
I could not find an editor that could be you.
Do you have any idea of which editorname you may have used.

I thought that this would be a difficult thing... well, I have probably used a name like tobias, tobias77 or tobiaseichner. But I must confess, that this is more an educated guess. Anyway, I can remember that I added our own website to the directory (as well as others of course, but don't know anymore which exactly). It's starenterprise.com . Perhaps you can see who the name of the editor was.

due to a crash in 2006 we lost parts of the logs which prevents me from seeing who added starenterprise

No, this was definitively not a username of mine.

Well, seems that we can't do anything.

Makes it sense to register again ? Several months ago I tried to request a category move for our own website entry (from web hosting to software development), but as often as I made a request, I got no reply. So I thought that other people may experience the same trouble because there are no editors actively working in these categories.

I noticed the move request, but those are not categories I am familiar with.
Replies are never send.
I'll first ask if we have some other options to find old accounts.

Tobias, we have not been able to find your old account.
You are allowed for a new account (it will be reviewed as a new editor, so you will have to make a good and complete application)
Do not check the box "have been an editor" with yes, but set it to no.
And please make a comment in one of the fields about your old account with a reference to this thread.
