can't get www.the-soap-lady.com listed

I submitted www.the-soap-lady.com several months ago and it never showed up, so I submitted again and it's still not in the database. I submit sites regulary and have not had this problem before. Any idea why it's not getting listed?

First of all, the editors will not be able to tell you what the status of your site is unless you provide a clickable link to where you submitted it.

In regards to the time it takes to get a site listed with the ODP, it is run by volunteer editors instead of being automated with database scripts. These volunteers work to review sites whenever they have the time.

Anyways, please provide a clickable link to where you submitted your site, and remember that it only needs to be submitted to us *once*, otherwise the volunteers may end up spending more time trudging through duplicate submissions and less time listing quality sites for the directory. <img src="/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

It's one of those sites that got moved around to get to the category. - It's currently waiting in Shopping/Health/Beauty/Bath_and_Body/Soap/Handmade -- which is probably where it should have been submitted. Each move has just slowed down the review process.
It's there now, and someone will get to it.

you can probably submit to http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Texas/Localities/R/Round_Rock/Business_and_Economy/ as well since you are located there. It won't affect your pending listing.
