Can't reach ODP site

I tried for many weeks now to reach the dmoz.org site to submit a site. Whenever I try to open any page from dmoz.org with my browser, I get the message 'dmoz.org couldn't be found. Please check the name and try again'. I tried different times of the day and different browsers. Does someone have an idea?

No problems were reported over the last few days, so most likely it is a problem somewhere on your side or on your way to the DMOZ server.

- Are you behind a restrictive firewall/proxy? Maybe in a company?
- Did you try to do a Shift-Reload? Iin case one of the several dmoz.org servers is down this might help to reach a different one.

can reach ODP site by IP

Hi,

I did some more testing and found out I can reach the ODP Site by IP (207.200.81.154) without any problems - just submitted my URL .
Isn't that strange? After all, I had these problems not for a few days, but for months. The problem should be with some name server, shouldn't it?

That tends to be an issue with your ISP -- you might want to give them a call.
