Can't submit my site - add2.cgi just hangs

I've been trying to submit a site but the submittion just hangs and eventualy gives up. Tried e-mailing the cat editor one two occasions and got no-reply - now I see that it no-longer has an editor.

Here are the details -

Don't worry... Your submission had been caught by our filter and sent to an assessment area. I just transfered it to the cat you submitted to originally, it's now waiting there to be reviewed along with half a dozen other sites

How does it get reviewed if the cat doesn't have an editor ?
Or does it just wait until somebody takes the job ?

You shouldn't bother because the cat has no editor listed in it: any editor listed in a category higher in the tree can edit there, as well as any meta or editall editor.

Please wait at least one month before asking again about your site's status, and re-use this same thread if you do so. The bug seems to be fixed now
