Hey

<details removed> is listed in the ODP under · COMPUTERS-SOFTWARE-GLOBALIZATION-COMPUTER AIDED TRANSLATION Catagory

Due to Marketing changes we want to change our position to the Follow Catagory :computers, internet, searching, search engines

Since according to Alexa 90% of our traffic goes to either <details removed>

Which is our Search Platforms supported by Google.

How do we make this process and how long does it take
So Alexa and other ranking sites can change their category database as it is based under your directory

Thank you for any answer

Kind regards

Michael L

If you want an editor to move an entry, use the "Update URL" field at the top right of the category the entry is currently listed in. There is a field for comments to the editor, where you can state your concern. How long it takes until an editor will process your request can't be said, since we are based on volunteer work.

the first thing that needs to be done is change the company and the website
DMOZ lists websites based on what we can see on the website
from your website
Babylon.com is aglobal Internet company and the leading provider of language solutions, bridging the language gap between online users worldwide. The Company's solutions include: online dictionary and translation software, language learning solutions, English writing enhancement and much more.
seems to me that the site is listed correctly
And as DMOZ only is interested in unique content a copy of Google's search engine is not something we see as usefull for our directory.

Thank you for your reply

If you go to the About Us Tab at our Site it is stated : Babylon is a leading global provider of language and search solutions, the Company operates in 200 countries.
and our traffic is affected from the Search part more than the Language/Translation part

Should we submit a change of our Site description as well ?

Is there a place where i can view the status of our request ?

Thank you :)

Since we don't discuss specific websites here (and I don't know your URL anyway) please do as windharp advised. Some editor will process your request and ensure that the site is listed appropriately. I can't predict who or when that might be.

You can't check status.
