Following a recent submission i may have submitted to the incorrect catagory.

Should i re submit to the correct catagory ,or will an editor correct if wrongly placed.

An editor should correct if wrongly placed. But it might increase the time to review because it might need to get reviewed by two editors.

You should be ok to submit once more to what you feel is the better category.
