ok guys, so I am about to submit my site again to Dmoz.
I've read the guidelines (lots) and may not have picked the precisely correct category last time.
I picked

and my site is actually specific to the Yorkshire regions

However there is no category for:

so what should I do??
This is the nearest category with ZERO items in it!! but we cover North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire

I have seriously been thinking of applying to become a category editor but there is mix of only a few sites (or too many sites) in the areas/categories I am an expert on. This one is too big going on the guidelines (parent category size)

Granted, I could also adapt to other categories but I think the value I could bring to a subject field I am an expert on and have an interest in would be based on the fact that I know some great sites and content that are not listed

Could any of the DMOZ editors please advise me as to what I should do?
Do I just submit to the nearest category?

Thankyou

Have you thought about Yorkshire and the Humber? It's charter reads:
Yorkshire and The Humber includes the Counties of:

East Riding of Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire

and the Unitary Authorities of:

Kingston upon Hull, York, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire
and it has an employment sug-category. Just a thought. What you should do is pick the single best category you can find and suggest the site there. The reviewing editors will make sure it is moved if a better category exists.

Oh!
Thats a much more suitable category!
Thanks very much shadow. I will try and resubmit to that one. Somehow I missed that in my searching
