Category moving away?

The category for virtual pet games used to be dmoz.org/Games/Online/Virtual_Pets/Simulated_Pets/Horses/
Apparently it has been moved to
http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Simulation/Virtual_Pets/Horses/

However the database hasn't been synchronized with the new structure, and given that the last time the two were synchronized, was in October it does not look like it is going to be done soon.
It appears that for some misterious reason Virtual_pets category was moved from /Games/Online to /Games/Video_Games/Simulation/Virtual_Pets, meaning that none of the searches returned by dmoz is going to work.
I am saying misterious reason because that category belongs to the online games, and they are definitely not video games.

Actually, Games/Online/Virtual_Pets was renamed to http://dmoz.org/Games/Online/Pets/. and Games/Online/Virtual_Pets/Simulated_Pets was moved to http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Simulation/Virtual_Pets

The search database usually lags behind by several weeks. Given our server problems, I believe we are several months behind at this point.

The thing is that the Virtual_Pets belongs to the /Games/Online/Pets, no to Video_Games category
And by renaming the category, several hundread sites will not be accessible for a while. Oh well

What I told you is what occurred, though perhaps writing it in a different order will make more sense: the subcategory Games/Online/Virtual_Pets/Simulated_Pets was moved to http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Simulation/Virtual_Pets and then the remaining Games/Online/Virtual_Pets category was renamed to http://dmoz.org/Games/Online/Pets/ . So only part of the original Virtual Pets category (the contents of the old Simulated Pets category) was moved to Video Games.

RE: the sites not being available, the redirects should have automatically been in place after the move but it looks like there's a bit of a lag there as well. That will eventually work itself out.
