I have a site that appears to have to been approved and accepted into the directory for a very short time prior to the crash. I am thinking it got sucked into a dark void somewhere.
I have been reading this forum for some time now and I really can't remember where or when I saw this, but if memory serves me, I read that when dmoz was replaced with static pages, those pages were from a point several months prior to the crash. I also think I remember seeing that you all were not sure if data current to crash would ever be restored.
Below I have listed some data from September and October of 2006. The data was copied from the "links from search engines" portion of awstats. The category is a niche category, so I have no expectation that I would have numerous hits from DMOZ, as I would from search engines. I have searched, as well as gone to the category where the link should be and it is not there. I have also not seen any activity in the web log since October. This was probably a year long process. I used the "set it and forget it" philosophy and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it the stats.
Is it a possibility the site was lost in the crash? If so, how do I get it restored?
Maybe a week prior to the crash I submitted a different site for listing. Do I need to resubmit that site?
