It seems that ch.dmoz.org is nowadays redirectiing to the main server www.dmoz.org, so - sorry to say - it seems that our users in countries that ban dmoz.org for some reason are unable to access it again.

No worries. If it does, just apply for reinstatement. You can't help things out of your control.

There are a number of data users which pull ODP data on the fly, so they are as current as our servers are. I am lacking the time, but an editor interested in the subject could try to track a recent change on the sites listed in this category - any site displaying a change more recent than the last RDF dump is using live data. Of course this isn't as good as a real ODP mirror, but it would be a workaround to view ODP data.

Btw: There is no need for editors to have their accounts time out because of this issue. Just bookmark the direct link to the editor dashboard, and you will have access to the editor only server. No need to visit the public servers.

Confirmed, and this is also the best way to use the directory if not editing. I've been doing that since I moved to China... :rolleyes:
