Change for http://www.ernex.com?

My questions is that our old domain and description seems to still reside in DMOZ? If I search for Ernex the following description appears in the results.

Ernex Marketing Technologies Inc. - Provides businesses with tools to learn more about customers and run targeted promotions in real time.

This is our old company name and old URL? But if I click into the category, it has the updated listing?

If you already know where the site is in the directory, and you already know its URL, why waste time searching for it? Search is seldom as up-to-date as the category pages themselves, anyway.

Maybe I did not explain myself well. I work for the company, so of course I know where we are listed, and the URL.

I am wondering why one portion of the listing contains our old information, but the sub-sections contain the correct (new) information. So if someone was to search for Ernex, the get the incorrect domain for one category and the correct one for the other category. That is my question.....

So if I click on the link to "Business: Marketing and Advertising: Direct Marketing" I get:

Ernex - A division of Moneris Solutions Corporation which specializes in providing direct marketing at the point-of-sale through loyalty and stored-value gift card programs.

Unfortunately, as DMOZ feeds a large number of other sites, they all come back with the incorrect URL (ernexinc.com) and not the correct one (www.ernexinc.com).

Hoepfuly that made better sense?

Actually I did not read your entire post - [because I think you are still missing something. When you search for ernex

the bottom line of the results page says

Search database last updated on: Mon Feb 28 10:30:11 EST 2005

because our search has been out of date for some time, therefore the results are meaningless.

If you go to the category and the description is incorrect, you may submit an update request.

http://ernexinc.com is not listed in ODP anywhere that I can see,

What other search engines and directories do with our data is not under our control.
