I recently submitted my new yahoo group. The group goes with my site that's already listed. I somehow submitted the group to Society>Religion>Christianity when I meant to submit it to Society>Religion>New Age, the same place the site is listed. So I submitted the group again, this time to New Age. Was that a bad move? What will the editors likely do? Is there a way to withdraw that first submission to the Christianity section?

Two submissions does not a apammer make. Just quit while you are ahead and don't submit any more.

What will the editors likely do?

Kill one, or the other. Occasionally both get killed, but that is unlikely.

No, don't worry about it.

In the end, it really doesn't matter about it being missubmitted -- the Yahoo group doesn't have enough content to list right now (and we wouldn't list both the existing listing and the Yahoo group).

Thanks for your answers. :)

But curious as to why the new yahoo group MiraclePoint and the existing listing, (the MiraclePoint web page), would not both be listed. To me they're two different entities. Related, but not redundant.

"Related," eh?

And what does the ODP submittal policy say about submitting "related" sites? (Hint: it's the most severe penalty for webmasters mantioned anywhere in the policies.)

"not redundant"

Indeed not. All that's redundant is the ODP link to the second one.
