One of our accounting clients in Perth, http://www.bizalliance.biz has changed its name to http://www.walkerwaylandwa.com.au

Seeing as a DMOZ editor actually found and added the original site, I thought you guys may be keen to change over the site in the relevant category.

http://dmoz.org/Business/Accounting/Firms/Accountants/Australia/Western_Australia/

Its our only client who ended up in DMOZ without us or the client doing anything.

Do we have to do anything ? If so, what do we do ?

Go to the category where it's listed now, click on the update listing link at the top and follow your nose.

Be sure to make the old URL redirect to the new. It doesn't matter whether this is automatic or a notice inviting manual action.

Yep,
go to the category the site is currently listed in and submit an update request.

Make sure the old url indicates the update, either by redirect or text on site.

It will be quicker than waiting for an editor or one of the tools to notice the change.

Thanks

Thanks guys.

All done. I provided my email address if anyone needs anymore information and I have forwarded the old site to the new one using a META:refresh.

That should work ok (but a visual notice for real visitors, and/or a proper 301 redirect for search engine bots might be slightly more effective all round).
