Hi,

I have a site listed in dmoz as

<site url>: Alias

in this category

http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/Programs/Dramas/Alias/

I would like to submit it as

Title: <site name>: Movie Downloads
Url: <url removed>
Description: Recent movie downloads, trailers and wallpapers
DMOZ CATEGORY: http://dmoz.org/Arts/Movies/News_and_Media/

Basically, i would like the homepage in a more general category and not just a very specific subsection.

I submitted a request to update this listing a while back and have not heard a response. I have noticed that the editor has updated the category but not changed my listing so i am not sure what is happening. I would like some direction on how to move <url removed> into a more appropriate / general category. This site is not just an Alias site. The Alias is a small part of the entire site.

Can i just submit to more than 1 category? Please let me know what the procedure is for this situation.

Thanks

It would not be inappropriate for you to suggest your main URL to the most appropriate broad category (note: News and Media wouldn't be the appropriate place for a site offering pictures and wallpapers). Editors may choose to list deeplinks if they find they are relevant but site owners should avoid suggesting numerous deeplinks themselves.

that's a good point about the news vs. wallpapers and downloads. i will search for a better area.

well i technically i think i am only supposed to have this site in dmoz listed once or am i mistaken? will having this deep link listed already prevent acceptance for submitting my site into a more general category? Thanks
