Change the category for a waiting site?

I read some postings here that I thought could help but I didn't find exactly the answer. I hope not being annoying with this question... Our company site is waiting for review in completely inappropriate category. Is there a way to change it?
I don't want to be penalized for oversubmitting the site...

If it's waiting in a single inappropriate category, go ahead and re-submit it in the single appropriate category. It may save us some time and effort, and two submissions will not get you labelled as a spammer -- especially if one of them is to the most appropriate place.
