This site is listed in http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Crafts/Woodcraft/Woodturning
I made a request some time ago for the description to be changed in order to reflect a couple of changes on the website. Can you tell me if my request has been rejected, ignored or still waiting for review?
I have also in the past asked for the sub-directory http://www.sunrisewoodcrafts.ns.ca/wedding-favors/ to be added to the wedding favor category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Weddings/Reception/Favors/ . Is it unreasonable to request inclusion in multiple categories when the product range appeals to a wide audience? Being in the Woodturning category is fine, but I have customers who could equally well be looking in Cooking, Gardening, Weddings or Wine categories. Comments would be appreciated.
As an aside, I think there is a feeling amongst webmasters that DMOZ is a bit of a black hole. I think it would be really nice if there was some way of tracking submissions and knowing that something is happening. I would be much more patient if I knew when I submit a request that there are X items queued ahead of me. When I check back later and find only X-Y in the queue, I would at least see some glimmer of hope on the horizon. And if the editor doesn't like the submission it would be nice to know that too.
Thanks
