Changes in Website Description not changed

Hi!

Back in March I submitted a change of description for my store, Serenquility.com. Checking today in the category that the site is listed, it says that the last update was made on June 13, 2005, but my description was not changed. The description listed now is inaccurate and it is wreaking havoc with my search engine placement because Google automatically uses the description I have in DMOZ's listing (not to mention customers who are looking for something I no longer sell). Should I submit the description again or is there anything else I can do to get this changed? :(

The "Update" form is the only way to ask for a description be changed. If you have already submitted an update, it is either still waiting, or has been rejected by an editor. There is no need to resubmit.

When suggesting new descriptions, make sure that you use a straight forward description you site, not marketing language. If you decide to submit an update in the future, you might want to put a reason in square brackets [like this] explaining exactly why the description needs to be changed. This is only for the reviewing editor to read, it will not be part of any published description.

No need to use those braquest.
On the form there is a field labeled "Please describe the nature of your changes: (required)"

If a change was requested several months ago you may be sure it was rejected. Update requests are normaly handled much faster as new suggestions. A request might be rejected if the site does not show us why we should change anything or if the proposed description is not according to our guidelines.

Advice: make a new update request after first reading our guidelines about quality descriptions and clearly describe why this change should be made

Also the date of last change for a given category has absolutely no relevance to a given URL.
