Changing submission title

Hi,
I submitted my site about a year ago for inclusion in the Shopping->Tools->Trade Specific category. I was wanting to change the title slightly of my submission - Is this possible before it is reviewed? Thanks

I think your best bet would be to wait for the site to be reviewed and if its accepted, you can submit an update to change the title. The only other thing I could suggest would be to contact an editor from that category and let them know you want to change the title. I can't garantee a responce from an editor but it would be another option. If it were me, id wait for the site to be listed and then do an update.

This could be a non-issue. For titles we generally use what the site actually calls itself, ignoring the title on the submitted suggestion.

I appreciate the advice. The reason i wanted to change my site title is that i noticed another site ripping off my title and then they were indexed before me - with a spammy redirect page at that! I didnt want this to effect my site's inclusion because of the similarity. But anyway, thanks again - this forum is always very helpful.

If that site is indexed in DMOZ, report the spammy redirect in the abse forum - redirects are generally not allowed.
