changing URL proceedure

I have changed my URL from www.selectzone.com to www.gpszone.com. Currently I have a permanent redirect from my old URL to my new URL. I need the link and information changed on dmoz so I submitted a change URL in my category "Shopping: Consumer Electronics: GPS - Global Positioning System " on August 14 2003. When I submitted the change I got the message that said something like " [somebody's name] is no longer an editor". Now I don't know what to do. Was my change URL request received by someone? Do I resubmit? I emailed staff with the same questions but haven't received a response. Now my category no longer list an editor's name, instead there is an option to volunteer.

Do not contact the editor for changes, use "Update URL" for that purpose. Since this feature does not send feedback to an editor, it wont complain about an editor being not with the ODP any more... ;-)

(We can't tell you anything about your update request without a category. For suxch requests we have the "submission staus" forum - explanations how to get a status are sticked to the top there)

Thanks for the quick response.

I did use the "Update URL" link. It had boxes for URL, title, description of changes etc., it was after I submitted the update that the message "[name] is no longer an editor" appeared. Huh, now you have me doubting my memory.

I guess I'll try the submission status forum.

Thanks

Galloping senility, probably.

If it happens again, save the tracks and post in bugs and forums.

There seem to still be some niggling bits of the plumbing not working after the upgrade -- but I'm laying odds this one's your fading grey matter.
