checking my submission

Hi,
I understand that status report on a submission is not available and I would not want to pester anyone.

I do have a problem though, in that I submitted our website a while ago and am hoping to be included, -
but I cannot recall what catagory I submitted to. Is there any way I could check up on this ?

and is it allowed to submit one's site to more than one category
(ie a relevant category for the service, and say a regional category also)

You could do an ODP search on your site by leaving off the www. part of the url. If it's been listed it should show.

If you don't find it, it wouldn't hurt to submit it just one more time.

Absolutely. If you qualify, you can be listed in a Topical category, like Business or Shopping, and if you have a walkin brick and mortar location, you can also be listed one time in the Regional part of the Directory.

In Regional, submit it to the city/town/village you're actually located in, not your service area, or a larger city that you'd like to be listed in. An address on your site would be very helpful to us, though we have other ways of confirming your location.

No - that would also be a status check.

Absolutely, it's actually encouraged if the site has both a topical focus and a regional presence.

No, there's not even any way an interested party could check on this. The database simply does not support that kind of query.
