Please take a moment to offer us suggestions for any additional unique content we could add to improve our site.

Thanks in advance for your time.

And I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with your disagreement.

Your Gambling news page is a collection of wire stories on gambling, a feature countless of other sites offer (not to mention Google's news search).

The sportsline page is on a different site, not to mention offers information I could find just as easily on MSNBC.

Your online slot is a slotland.com script and not unique.

Neither is your blackjack game, variants of which can be found all over the web.

Apeuro mentioned "unique content". Obviously http://www.justgamble.com/news.html isn't since it is just news stories from Reuters and elsewhere. The linesheet isn't even on your site. The slots and blackjack pages have no content at all except games available hundreds of places. There is nothing unique on the site at all and it won't be listed.

WoW.. I heard this was a curt tight knit club...
I should not be surprised.

Thanks for all your "Positive Feedback"
as well as the many suggestions for unique content..;-)

BTW - have you recently rewiewed any of the sites listed in this category?? Probably not since yer all so busy!!

Many look like Casino POP-UP havens & banner ad farms..

Have A GREAT Day!

Mike, if you believe that some sites are listed in the category incorrectly (which is quite possible - these types of sites are notoriously bad for changing content after they have been reviewed) we would very much appreciate you bringing them to our attention in the Abuse forum (if you look there you will see some examples of the sorts of thing that is done). This will usually cause us to look at those sites and review whether they still belong.

I'm sure you can appreciate that with the number of categories we have we can't be regularly checking all the sites, so you flagging up issues like this would be a great help to us.

As for suggestions for unique content, as editors we review sites, we do not critique webmaster's work, or suggest improvements to their sites.

I recently posted something to another thread in answer to a very similar question to yours, which I will copy here:

I'm afraid I'm not going to tell you what you should put on your site. For one thing, chances are I'm not going to be the reviewing editor, and so my opinion counts no more than anyone else's who has read the ODP guidelines for what constitues a listable site.

I would recommend you read through those, but here are some things that do NOT count as unique content:

* Affiliate links
* a list of non-affiliate links (we could list those in the directory ourselves)
* material which is readily available from another site (either copied word-for-word or paraphrased)

When an editor reviews that site, in their mind, they "block out" all of that, and see what the site has to offer once that is gone. If what is left seems useful to a surfer, then the site is more likely to get approved than if it's not.

I hope this helps.

And please have a great day too.
