My company submitted our site www.doortodoorauctions.com to the category Business: Business Services: Auctions about 6 months ago, but we still haven't been listed, nor have we heard anything about our listing request. If you could get back to me, that'd be great. Thank you so much!

Actually, it looks like it wasn't submitted there; rather moved there. But listing was declined.

To save you some time.

eBay Trading Assistants are not included in the directory - they can be found from eBay

http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?TradingAssistant&page=main

It's part of a general rule not to include any sites whose main function to to display a list of eBay auctions, and also to not include any eBay stores. It's not open to discussion as to why we should list them - sorry.

would it be ok to resubmit?

Would it be ok to resubmit my company's site to dmoz? I know that we normally shouldn't resubmit multiple times, but since I already know we were rejected, is it ok to? And where should I go to check if my description is suitable for the directory? can i just post it on this thread?

Certainly you may resubmit, no one can stop you....

But unless your site steers very wide of:
