Hello,
I have attempted to post our website twice in the past two years. Our organization is a well-established social group in San Diego that was established eight years ago and currently has 35,000 members. We are very well known in our city, and are the second largest organization of our kind in the nation. Our website receives over 30,000 visits per month from ~20,000 unique visitors.
We should be completely eligible based on all of the criteria listed in the guidelines, and I have been very specific in listing our organization under the correct category (sports organizations in the city of San Diego).
I would really like someone to explain the process by which a site is reviewed and included in the directory. What factors are considered in the evaluation process? We try to keep up with best practices, but perhaps our site has some content or code on it that is causing it to get pushed to the bottom of the pile. It would be nice to know if there are any "warning flags" that we might be triggering. It is also possible that one of our prior SEO firms has accidentally gotten us "banned", and if so, is there any way to rectify the situation?
Any insight into the approval process is very much appreciated.
Thank you.
