Hey all,

I have two questions I was hoping you can help me with:

  1. I have submitted a URL about three weeks ago and did not get any response.
According to ODP's instructions, I have submitted an additional request a few days ago, and still - no response.

After doing some research on the Internet, I started thinking that I might have submitted for the wrong category.<url removed>
  2. Can I suggest URLs of a site that does not belong to me?
In such a case, can it harm the owner's chance due to "too many requests"?
I mean... I don't know the guy so I have no clue whether he or she had put a request or not.

Thank you,
Moshe!

You only get a confirmation on screen after you suggested the website. DMOZ does not send any responses to people who suggest websites.
There are also no instructions to suggest a website after a few days. One suggestion is enough.

Yes, you may suggest websites that do not belong to you.
And no, that will do no harm to the website, the person owning it or the chance for that website to be lsited.
