I'm wondering how "sister sites" (.coms & .co.uks) are looked at by ODP.
We currently have our .com site listed in the following category:
1. Computers: Software: Business: Small Business: Daycare
We've recently launched a sister site for users in United Kingdom, that is hosted in the UK and has a .co.uk address. Although the sites look very similar, the UK site does contain unique content, for example only products sold in the UK are listed, prices are in pounds, international phone numbers are listed, UK english is used like centre (instead of center), etc.
The closest directory I've come across that is UK specific appears to be:
2. Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Society and Culture: Children: Childcare
However, other .co.uk sites with similar information seem to be in catetory #1 above, not in the regional category #2.
Would it be advisable to ask for our listing in #1 to be updated to include a second URL to our sister .co.uk site? Or would a new submission to #2 seem more appropriate?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
