Confused about which directory

Dear Dmoz,

I am a bit confused about where to submit with the DMOZ directory

My site is a pet sitting and pet store based in the United Kingdom Fareham.

However, there seems to be two places to submit it to:

Either

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Hampshire/Fareham/Business_and_Economy/

OR

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...mpshire/Fareham_Borough/Business_and_Economy/

The latter appears to be empty and I can't see why it this would be.

If an editor who is perhaps based in the U.K is reading this I wonder if they could let me know which one I should submit to very grateful. As I don't want to get the wrong one and be rejected.

I'm not based in the UK, but I can answer the question. You would suggest your site to the first one (the locality). The second one is for an area that includes Fareham.

Suppose you suggested to the wrong one.

The editor could tell you you suggested to the wrong place, and reject the suggestion. Then he could wait for you to suggest again.

Or he could just move the suggestion to the right place.

We'll go the sensible way, thank you.

There is no need to ask us to do that. There is ESPECIALLY no need to ask us to do the other way.

Oh I see, so the region part is the locality where you are based rather than the area you service. Thank you for replying and I will give it a go now.
