Confused

Dear Editors,

I am confused about DMOZ. I have waited more than 2 years to get my websites listed. I have even submitted some of my clients websites but still nothing yet. I even would love to become an editor to help but I am afraid I would be rejected. Is there a problem finding editors for the Caribbean?

I would love to make a difference but what do I need to do to help get my websites listed faster? I have changed one of the websites I have to a new name. Can I become an editor to help out?

There is really nothing you can do to help get sites listed faster, but to suggest them in the best category.

You can apply to become an editor, if you want to help out the ODP--which is not at all the same as helping affiliated people (or even site suggesters in general) get their websites listed.

I know of no particular problem in the Caribbean, except those that are endemic to popular tourist resorts (that is, mostly, a never-ending plague of travel affiliate/doorway sites targeting the major location names with search engine spam).

The pause will certainly cause work to backup. I hope things get going soon. So that people like me can get listed. I have submited my clients website but I am not an SEO. I am a business woman... I have several different businesses including building websites.

I have submitted the websites in the best category I know but it is a very long wait. Lucky for those who get their websites listed in a short time.

There are so many websites going up with information on the Caribbean it is killing people like me. Most of these websites are in the US, UK or outside the Caribbean. I need mine listed so I can get better ranking in the search engines. I was number one in some of the major search engines... due to hard work but now I have to fight to stay up.

I want to become an editor to help out as best as I can.... there are some great websites out there. I am being straight and also it is great to know that there are some honest people with integrity out there. I was surprised to read some of the editors comments and realize there are honest people in the world still. I do have some spare time and can help out once a week.

it's always nice to hear that someone wants to became an editor. But, as you probably noticed before - currently editor application form is not available due to technical difficulties. We all hope these problems will resolve soon, so you and all those who're interested can submit their websites and editor application forms.

Once DMOZ resolves this issue, I'm sure your submission will be processed.
