Hey guys, the open directory project is absolutely great... it makes it easy to find exactly what you're looking for!

Anyway, my site is located at http://www.nuttychipmunk.net and I'm getting kind of confused as to what directory I should submit the site to. It's hard to pick one specific thing that it focuses on, and I'm afraid of being rejected due to picking of the wrong catagory...

If you guys could take a quick look and maybe suggest which directory a site like mine could go into, it'd be great! Sorry if it's a bother! :)

Thanks a bunch,
Bryan

No, we don't do that here. It's a very inefficient way to work.

What you do, is suggest it to whichever category you think is most appropriate. When an editor is working in that category, it can be reviewed -- but if it doesn't go there, it'll be moved closer to a better category.

We do that for all sites, whether that is requested or not (for that matter, whether the sites are even SUBMITTED or not). We do it very efficiently.

We don't reject help just because it's not perfect.

So go ahead and submit. You'll be getting the site before the eyes of more editors, and more interested editors, more quickly. And we'll do what you request there -- not because you request it, but because that's what we do.
