This is not an appropriate use of the "contact editor" functionality.

but everytime i am getting a cgi error from the server.

A known problem; sometimes the mail goes through anyway. But, and this is the important thing, we very very strongly recommend that editors not respond to such questions.

Is there any other means to contact the editor?

Public forums like this ... but still, we'd recommend editors not respond.

All what i wanted to know is whether my website is been already reviewed and rejected? or is it still pending.

Here's the problem. There's no possible honest, practical use for that information. But if you to decide what to do based on that information, there's a very simple, 100% working rule: assume the site has already been reviewed, and rejected, and will never be reviewed again. And ... do what you think is best. Quickly. NOW.

And here's the trick. WHATEVER YOU DO, BASED ON THAT RULE, WILL ALWAYS TURN OUT TO BE THE BEST THING TO DO. Even if the site is later reviewed and added to the directory.

Hello,

We have been trying to get our company listed on dmoz since a long time ago, we follow the rules carefully and still we don't get our listing. After reading some posts I tried looking for the category editor, for the link that appears at the bottom, but there is no editor.

Please tell me how I can contact one of the editors, or any other alternative to find out why we haven't been able to get listed.

Thank You

Editors are very very strongly discouraged from discussing why sites aren't listed.

If an editor hasn't reviewed the site, then ... how would he KNOW whether it even SHOULD have been listed?

And if he has reviewed the site, then what's the point of discussing it? If he thinks it should be listed, he can list it without a discussion. And ... if he thinks it shouldn't be listed, then ... it's flat DANGEROUS to discuss it. (Yes, unhappy webmasters have stalked editors at their personal residences! And sure, probably 70-80% of disappointed webmasters probably wouldn't do that, but we have no way of figuring out which ones would. We don't ask people to volunteer for that.)

I have just joined and would like to submit a website to the health/dentistry/regional section but there is no section for Ireland, UK is the closest region to me. How do I go about suggesting an "Ireland" category to this section?

Ireland isn't part of UK so please don't suggest it to there. The 'countries' within Health/Dentistry/Regional are just pointers to Regional categories. You might like to consider cutting out the middle man by suggesting your site to its locality within Regional/Europe/Ireland.
